Transformer tanks are made from mild steel and designed to avoid damage of specially alloyed electrical laminated Core to reduce no load losses and noise level of transformer, properly insulated winding and to be tested under pressure. The tank is internally painted with oil and heat resistance paint and zinc chromatic red oxide primer.
